Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome together with her mother and father. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother is an ex-love interest to Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana attended a local school before matriculating into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Luciana first became an actress in fashion after two years. The direction of her career was changed afterward, as by chance, she got her first role as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor herself, was her first husband. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace following their wedding in 1960. The couple had one son, named Charles born on June 13, 1961. They divorced just a year following his birth, and Luciana was granted custody. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana was with Tony Athony,, an actor and producer. Tony was greatly influenced by her performance in the film Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as the mixed Spaghetti Western for which he became somewhat popular.
