Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make her shop wildly successful, before she closed the business. Then she began writing one of her cookbooks. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columnists that followed. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Her products range from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina has never attended any cooking school and has not worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known as a cook who is simple and has her entertaining style. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
